Canine physiotherapy aims to increase function, performance and reduce pain. It does so by increasing range of movement, flexibility, strength and restoring normal movement patterns. Treatment may include, home exercises, manual therapy, massage and electrotherapy. Our therapists at All Seasons Animal Rehab are Chartered Physiotherapists and have undergone six years of training in order to provide the highest level of care for your dogs.
Our hydrotherapy services include a state of the art underwater treadmill. There are multiple studies which highlight the benefits of hydrotherapy. The underwater treadmill allows the client to exercise at reduce weight bearing in a controlled fashion but while also moving against the resistance of the water. The underwater treadmill is perfect for treating post operative, spinal, osteoarthritis and hip/elbow dysplasia cases.
Hip/Elbow dysplasia is long term condition which is common in certain breeds. Early and effective management can be highly beneficial to allow these dogs live a fulfilled quality of life.
